I've drove a manual for 3 years I don't know if I could drive an automatic I would be lost without my gear ****, never really tried though haha. I would say manuals are more exciting!

Manual, seeing as it's standard in the UK. Dad had an automatic for a while but he found the car "lagged" for a few seconds before kicking in at junctions etc, went back to a manual.

About to say.. doesn't most cars in UK use standard transmissions? Wish it was this way in USA, its damn near impossible to find a brand new car with a manual transmission, in a lot of cases you have to custom order a new car if you want a manual. About the only things in USA that comes with Manual from the factory is high end sports cars (Mustang, Camaro, Corvette)
