Everybody has different opinions and, as Shar rightly pointed out, there's no real right or wrong answer. Some people may have been brought up by family who have arguments, siblings who are incredibly annoying and pretty much just have to find their own way and teach themselves things which a father or a mother should teach you. If this has happened to you, you'd want to find a partner to love and be with all the time as they are your family and will be for the future (hopefully).

However, if you're brought up in a family who care for you and teach you everything you need to know and are there for you when you need them; not putting you into the back of the pile you're going to want them more because they're the ones who have brought you up right and cared for you and actually taught you how to love someone the right way -- so you're always going to look to them for guidance and not yourself.

In my case, I'd say romance is more important.

Honestly, I'm more of the family person than the romance person...

Why? Because in my perspective, they are there for you through-out your ups and downs (based on personal experiences) and your relationship with partners can always fizzle out quickly before you know it (I experienced it twice so... yeah) and I love my family alot. Without your parents you wouldnt have yourself in the world, so you'd better thank them.

i personally think family's important. maybe because i'm so close to them and have been in a relationship only once..i don't really have good friends. the ones i do, don't really talk to me anymore as i changed schools. whenever i was stressed my family was there. they have almost always supported me
