I'd just get a can of compressed air (being careful not to squirt the liquid in it)... then if it's really mank, run a dampish isopropyl alcohol wipe over it.

Funnily enough I had this problem a few days ago. I have an iMac and my wireless keyboard was stinking. I used baby wipes and cotton buds. I wiped the ends of the cotton buds into the baby wipes and cleaned it using that. My keyboard's happy and healthy

I spilt maple syrup on one of Apple's wireless keyboards. The joy in replacing the keyboard for $80 was overwhelming

For things like dust and crumbs, I actually have a tiny USB vacuum cleaner thing that literally blows the crap away.
Never use a compass to wipe away the tiny bits, scratched the background of my keyboard quite badly

I'm currently on my iPhone if you are seeing this message! I cannot participate in spam wars xx

people know me because of that shower thing one time and I do not regret anything

upon further review I feel a rather mild regret is warranted
