I take forever to fall asleep. All my ideas for stories, assignments... coughs hx events... seem to pop into my head when im asleep. im like "go away im tryna sleep. " I just force my eyes shut and wait for me to drift off.
yeah i start thinking of threads i can make which is so pathetic wow but i find that instead of writing stories down, i write them in my head and continue each night. i never get very far though, but it helps to fall asleep

LOL the annoying thing is id have this really good idea for a story then forgot it by time ive woke up which normally means i'll spend the next night wide awake trying to retrace my thoughts to get it back

Michael, how dare you jump to that conclusion. But yes, LOL. Brings tiredness on much quicker. Tbqh, ... that.. also helps with migraines sometimes because it affects blood flow :L. It's amazing how useful 'it' can be.

I only jumped to that conclusion cos I sometimes do the same thing although this convo could quickly get even more disturbing so lets not go there

I know a handful of men who do that to get to sleep quicker as well, so I don't blame you. And yes, won't continue or I'll get asked how I know that other men do it .

My problem is I never feel tired until the early hours. If I tried to go to sleep early I think I would find it difficult going to sleep. However when I am tired, I drop of so easy. If I am on Skype in a convo, I can literally close my eyes and be asleep.

It'd be different each night, depending on how I am. Usually about 20 minutes or so.

hmmmm, it depends. like, i'll go through times where i find it so hard to sleep and it drives me mad, makes me more unhappy and makes it a nightmare in the mornings. i think around christmas time i had quite a hard time sleeping where it could take me 3 hrs to get to sleep and i had many sleepless nights. right now though i'm doing pretty well for sleep as i've just been really tired and managed to fall asleep quite quickly i guess.
