Love roast potatoes. I prefer them nice and crunchy but any do! Especially with some gravy

Roast potatoes are delicious as long as they are roasted in vegetable (not animal) fat!! HOWEVER they are not as good as mashed potato. But the mash needs to be Mash not Lump.
@Intersocial; yes!!! I used to have Magic Mash where Carol would just put whatever she had in the cupboards (within reason) into the mash and I'd have to eat it and guess what's in it!!! (I was like.. 2 and she'd only ever put things like peas, carrots, mini sausages and other really obvious foods in.)
