I don't play it to make credits anymore. I play it to play it, lol. It's just a bonus that I make these credits from hosting my Big Brother games. And considering I'm making almost 50 creds a day for doing not very much at all, I don't think it's too bad. I have more than enough credits to keep upgrading, improving, and revamping my Big Brother which is all I really care about on Habbo now.

Before the merge I wasn't worth much, in August/July 2009 I began trading a lot and managed to reach about 400/800 credits with just selling my furni - this came from winning events and such and I didn't buy credits often at all. Admittedly I didn't really know about the trading market back then, got scammed a few times, lost a lot of credits then settled on furni as I spent the creds. Then I won a Dino off Ludus in his Habbo Rugby game, on Habbox at the time it was worth 2t 38hc so I sold it for 2t 20hc, then sold the Thrones for HCs as that was the main currency, got other items such as a Silver Cup Trophy, Russian Samovars and Pear Trees were the only items I wanted back then. I was given donations a lot too, large donations. On Christmas Eve 2009 I was given 50 Sharebears by @Yuxin; and so many rares by another friend, a hour later I was banned then became hacked on Christmas Day, I received my account back and my 'norms' as it were, were given back to me. In the trading, a norm was a 'Yellow Rose' then worth 18HC (HCs worth 13-15 credits) so I built myself up yet again!

After the merge I began getting into trading a lot more, I managed to gain 605c and then helped @Pigperson; with his arcade, with betting alone I reached my peak credits of 3100 and still had too much furni beside, I did sell and buy, repeated process etc. I have a few credits now, so many bulks but I could gain those credits back with selling. I don't class myself as rich, if I was talking to someone who had that when I was first beginning then yes they would be rich but I've moved up since then and I believe that trading and betting are better ways to gain profit and become richer, it may be a slow process but I believe it does work. Like others have said it helps when you are the dealer.

Furthermore, @Pipette; will probably agree that Seasonal Rares are sometimes good to bulk on, items mainly for seasons such as Halloween/Habboween as they rocket up in price when it's nearing and just before they're released, things such as Haunted Forests and Dark Water are usually key as you know you can gain profit on them!

Tbh most of them buy credits and stuff illegally, which is a shame, then they resell those credits for more to others. Then they buy more with the profits they made. Sad truth.

Although some of them are legit and profit trade, own casinos and take bets.

Honestly wealth isn't what habbo is about, once you get it all it really doesn't matter anymore. No one really cares how rich anyone is, but everyone wants it for themselves. Since the marketplace, you can practically buy any rare you want or trade credits you buy with cash for a super rare. It makes having wealth ridiculously silly. As soon as I found out you could trade credits, I knew there was going to be more wealth on habbo, more rares, more thrones, and the economy will get lopsided (ex. HC's are worth what, 3 credits now?) Back in the day (2005 or earlier for me), the only way you could get a super rare was to trade thrones for them or other rares, so super rares were incredibly hard to get ahold of. These days, if you really spent some time, it wouldn't be that hard to get to the super wealthy status...Once there, then what? Want to be known as one of the few dozen casino owners to ever walk on habbo? Want to stack gold bars ceiling high or start a rare collection? I don't see the point.

I remember winning a typewriter in the "WORD UP!" competition back in 2003 I believe...this was when they were virtually impossible to get...I was ecstatic and people came to my room just to see it. Now I can buy one...I can literally go online right this minute and trade my gold bars for one. That stinks.

Some people go bet at casinos, but that is never trusted. Or they can sell rights or old furni.

Mainly, its profiting/gambling, some people buy everything, but most people from my experience, don't.

And Gordon (Goredone), the owner of Temple Run who I'm relatively close to got most of his wired/things via donations from friends and such, haha.

Personally, I only buy credits during promotions (Nuts, seeds, etc. - When the seeds first came out, I could sell the extra ones for 3c a pop, even the Level 0), and use that to my advantage. Other than that, betting and buying in bulk is the way to go.

Hack/Scam - Read "Hachette" 's story in his room (search his name) on how he amassed 750?-1000t?

Keylogging - sure Mike used this to hack both Nisus and Vodor.. same as hacking.. read up on it.. harder now as most people know about it

Buy and Sell for irl - obviously people are doing it.. buy low, sell high

Take bets on habbo - gd money if u have the ability to risk it

Rigging was a big problem "back in the day"

So yeh if you want a lot of credits, don't play legit.
