    I suppose being able to cross them off quickly is better than having

    'Admins want you to view this thread before conntinuing' every time.

    the only thing that bothers me is the way it slides down every time you reload a page (ss11)

    There could be a much better way to do this, but I rarely add my own custom filters in adBlock. Tools > Adblock Plus > Custom Filters > Add new filter rule > Type in "habboxforum.com##.topAlert"

    That's for the main site skin as I tested it whilst I was logged out, but if you have a notice up then check the div name of the alert and change it to "habboxforum.com##.divname" (I think the div name for non-Habbo is alert_box?)
