I've explained above why this complaint in particular isn't anything to worry about. Obviously problems occur and obviously they're dealt with when they need to be.

Everything was fine with today's event at 5pm BST. You're welcome to contribute ideas towards improving the system (and the department in general), but your post is worded in such a way that targets one specific event and I've addressed that event alone. So in that sense, yes there is only you who had a problem with today's event. There is little "uproar" in regards to today's event which your complaint is based on. You know that.

Ah, I agree with you then, haha.

I'm now not talking only about this one event, I'm talking about the events as an entity. Yes, there may have only been 1 complaint with regards to the 5pm event, but there have been complaints with regards to events on other days at other times and the combination of all these complaints is frankly quite frightening. Therefore, as Assistant Events Manager, do you not feel the need to look at the department and think if there is anything that needs changed or rules that need to be clarified?

Sure, Alex and I are willing to discuss changes to the department (without dressing it up as a complaint targetting one individual). Strangely enough, I haven't had a complaint in my inbox for a while, although I do know Alex is currently dealing with one issue after a series of PMs he got. I understand you might not believe us (I wouldn't believe me either) but we do actually follow up private messages. I'll also add that if we see something a bit odd in an event then we often send a reminder PM (whether it's about an announcement or the way they speak to people). I wouldn't call it "frightening" quite yet, although we're happy to discuss things with you in a civil manner. If you have some general things on your mind at the minute, just post them up and we'd be happy to take a look and post a reminder. If it's more personal though, private message is the place to be.

I don't see why you're crying over events so much , you're literally always doing it when tbh, i've never heard of you before or seen you at events lol... So what, someone disconnected and got let back in, is your life really that boring that that sort of stuff warrants a feedback thread lol. it is done ALL the time, if you had actually been at habbox events over the summer such as HxSS you would see this done daily and no one really had a problem.... did you lose to the player who got let back in or something? Is that the real reason?

I find it ridiculous that you're complaining that someone got let back in? The complaints should be when someone doesn't get let back in when they d/c, not the other way around? Stop being such a sore loser.

Sure there may be actual complaints that are very justified to make about events atm, but this is definitely not one of them.

You're an Events Organiser so of course you're going to try and back your department on this one. Frankly there is no need to try and insult me as that further weakens any argument that you may have had. The form of your rebuttle seems to be an attempt to belittle or bully which in fact has no content whatsoever. I believe in equality and fairness and I know that if I got disconnected I wouldn't be let back in and I wouldn't ask to be either.

You've never seen me at events before? Perhaps I don't attend every event and why should it matter how many events I do or don't attend. I do not believe that this makes me less important whatsoever as you are trying to imply.

And in reply, no my life clearly isn't very boring considering I didn't attend Habbox events over the summer because I was actually at the real Olympic Games everyday.

The irony is, that it was infact the person who disconnected who lost and therefore they were being a sore loser in not accepting that they are out of the game. I infact was still in the game. In addition to this, I was pointing out the favouritism in the events department with regards to the fact that hosts are extremely inconsistent. Some let just their friends back in when they disconnect or have problems or are away, whereas others are consistent and just let nobody back in. I think we need further clarifications of the rules of events.

I look forward to your reply.

I let people back in if the round hasn't finished, if it has they can wait. That's the rule I got told and that's the rule I followed, not everyone gets let back in.

Hence further emphasising the inconsistency in the hosting of events.

I think you need to realise this is DONE PURELY ON A VOLUNTEER basis, would you rather have no events for you to moan constantly about? SOMEONE GOT LET IN, it happens all the time over all the hotels in every single game almost. GET OVER IT.

I know it is done on a volunteer basis, but there is also an application process which means it is a selected position. I believe that there are many people who would love the opportunity to be events staff. I just want Habbox Events to excel really. It's constructive criticism. Everyone moans about Investment Banks and look, they're being reformed now via the Vickers reforms. Also, I feel that you have failed to reply fully to my points.

I reject the notion that you believe that the reform and inquiry into a department is unnecessary. I point out the Rare Values Department back when there was the price fixing scandal. The whole department was overhauled and sorted out and Habbox rare values are better as a result of it. Now, I'm not suggesting something this drastic for Events but something on a smaller scale perhaps?
