I did this a few years back, only with a fiver though. Went to Hawkins Bazaar and the ASDA 'silly gift' aisle. Just head down to the strangest places, boot fairs will do tbh, and I guarantee you'll find something hilarious.

Buy her one of those springs that go down the stairs she will LOVE that! Google 'Funny gifts' and there is some more ideas there.

There's tons of awesome gifts in Debenhams and M&S and BHS this year, particularly in BHS. Stuff is priced from £5-£15 generally. Worth a look if you've got no idea what you're going to get them.
http://www.bhs.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stor...erstitial=true - should work.
Worth nipping to your local town center though to get a look around those three shops IRL though since a lot of stuff I saw the other week isn't online. M&S have some really cool Guinness stuff btw.
Wilkinsons and B&M bargains also have a lot more branded decent gift sets already this year.

A slinky?
They're ok but they tangle/break really easily and are only really interesting for about five minutes before they get chucked in the back of the cupboard along with everything else IMO![]()
Thornton's chocolate is always something if you're out of ideas
For my besties birthday a few years ago I was pretty broke so bought a cheap nice looking green mug and got lots of green little things to put inside then wrapped it all fancy in tissue paper and cellophane that I had lying around, but that's cheap too
