    That is up to Amazon, assuming that the laptop does not fall under whatever their dead pixel policy is then they don't have to give you a replacement. However, they do have to give you a refund if you request it.

    I was going to say, Amazon and Apple (irrelevant i know! but they're fab!) never ever have let me down when it comes to customer support.
