You actually just referred to your Mum as an 'it'.Well at the same time you also get older each year so it is mostly due to your age. Although my Mum still gets happy and excited about it for sure as last year we was up at like 4am opening presents due to her being excited - I've always enjoyed Christmas time regardless of my age and will probably continue for many years to come.
Christmas is what you make it, I personally still love Christmas, especially getting up at stupid o'clock.

Lol it really was really interesting for me, but I realise my family has mande Christmas much more like to do with what you receive. :/
I still enjoy Christmas and do get a bit excitable the closer it gets. The main thing I like is having the family all together because it doesn't happen very often.

I've left, but I still visit sometimes!
But to be honest it's probably because as you gradually get older you get more expensive things so you have less to open!!
because we think of logic now. Hey look a cold month where people die of hypothermia each year where we are apparently being watched over by a fat guy in a suit while we sleep. We get presents from people who spend there earnings to make us happy sometimes we don't even want the present. My grandma who had a serious knee operation is still trying to make me happy by sending me money for a new guitar but maybe it's unfair for her to give me money..just seems wrong
But yea christmas spirit goes with age methinks

no he didn't he said "still gets excited about it"
Well Christmas has pretty much been a bit crap at mine since around 2007 because of circumstance such as my brothers working the past 2 or 3 years on Christmas day and other things that I shall not discuss. I think it most likely is age, but I think as you get older and if you have kids, it will probably be exciting again but in a different way.
Haven't really got the excitement for 2 years now, don't imagine it'll get any more exciting in the future either.![]()
