Technically if version 7 was scrapped and you restarted all the work, that would be version 8, would it not? It wouldn't surprise me if someone that's working on it broke off from the group and developed their own design and got it released, hence version 8 being before version 7.

Well it wouldn't have to be known as Version 8 because that means we would have jumped from 6 to 8 without a 7. We'll keep with the number 7 for the time being haha
