I would love this to happen but it's not realistic at all. It's much harder to go backwards than forwards in game development. They would have to find to a way to remove all the new features that are now very much apart of the game.
honestly the only thing that made old habbo entertaining (for me) was the community, i do enjoy the majority of the new features though. we've seen the positive reaction people have had towards the recent staff participation and i hope it continues!

I haven't been on RS for a while, what is this new release
Will
Along with the current client, they've released a members-only clone of the client from 2007, exactly as it was back then. Apparenrtly Jagex found an old back-up of the client from back then and put forward a (members-only) vote on who would like the old client to return. It's separate from the new client and requires you to start all over again with a new character. At present it's members-only with no extra costs for 6 months, from then I think there's a required $10 per month payment to keep playing.

I don't really agree with this suggestion, although it seems like a good idea in essence I don't think it would be very popular after all the hype wears off. I've recently had a look at pre-merge versions of the hotel and honestly, reverting would be a huge step backwards.
Apart from the community element back then (along with the original SS, BB, mazes and public rooms); old Habbo really has nothing going for it. There wasn't much to do at all! The "hand" was difficult to organise, the furni range was much smaller and therefore options for room building were limited, the overall look was much less aesthetically appealing, the client wasn't widescreen and therefore wouldn't work well with new age monitors, room events weren't available, clothing was limited, the variety of pets was limited, room layouts were limited, many new and fun games like Telephrase and runs didn't exist, along with a whole lot more we'd be missing out on. Additionally, I think one of the main reasons Habbo was so enjoyable to us back then was because of how young we were. I was 12 years old in 2007 and everything in life was a whole lot more fun when I was a kid!
Basically, all Habbo needs to do is to bring back aforementioned elements of Habbo that the community loved, the elements we were all disappointed to see go, such as forums, the Pixel Press, original SS/BB (e.g. no games centre) and some (but not all) of the public rooms, as a lot of them were extremely underused.

I personally wouldn't like to see Old Habbo brought back because basically Habbo has moved forward whether or not anyone likes it, it's a fresher Habbo now. I don't think I could use that bloody hand again, or that chat box.. Just my opinion though.
Search Varnius for Habbo's Official Trading Room.
