I wouldn't like to see the currency/exchange removed I do like this. How would they profit from it other wise?
Search Varnius for Habbo's Official Trading Room.

Removing the exchange makes sense - probably the biggest mistake habbo has ever made. Why buy credits, when you can simply exchange gb's?

Will be interesting to see if they do this to .com - if they do, will hc's make a rise again, or something else?
That would kind of ruin the marketplace though, seen as when you sell something for creds you can only spend them in the marketplace or the shop. And to have the credits to buy stuff in the first place would mean you'd have to buy credits. Oh idk .

I think especially the credit furni has revolutionised Habbo, without it, it's pretty crap.

    I agreed with this sentence.

A friend should be one in whose understanding and virtue we can equally confide, and whose opinion we can value at once for its justness and its sincerity.

Yeah I agree that the marketplace did ruin trading particularly, but removing it now and going back just doesn't seem like a good thing to do .

To prolong something like this will kill the economy for sure. There won't be enough credits to go around so furniture values will plummet. The main reason the gold bar system works so well is because noob users buy credits, exchange them into gold bars, and throw them into the hands of rich players. Without this source of revenue, the richer players will quickly run out of credits and the attention will shift from credits to a popular furniture (probably thrones) as the common currency in the hotel. As many of you probably remember, Club Sofas were the standard currency before Exchange was invented. Something similar to this would happen, though I doubt the Club Sofa is appealing enough to become that valuable again.

It does, if we count the users online currently on Habbo, they're 376 online.. on the retro, it's 1116 users.
