    @Olbong Rerun the installer for GIMP and see if you can uninstall the yahoo toolbar? Or is it listed separately in your installed programs list?

    worst comes to worst, download regscanner, search for yahoo toolbar and delete any entries

    have you tried "on startup" under settings?
    "open a specific page or set of pages. set pages" is yahoo on there you can X it off? and put in google

    Oh has someone basically already suggested that but with regscanner oops.

    I think this had something to do with a programme called 'TidyNetwork.com' - I deleted it off my system, changed google to my homepage, and voila! It had gone! - I had a quick read about TidyNetwork.com after I saw it in 'Change or Remove Programs' - It is a virus which does stuff to your computer
