I can see every single one of my badges

i believe it only shows the loaded badges you own, so in some cases if you have just earned a badge it will be displayed in the catalogue selection without having to open your inventory and click on the badge tab (to load your badges), if you're wearing your badges and click yourself i believe that loads them as well, so this is why sometimes it only shows the badges you're wearing and perhaps an odd one occasionally.
