No it's nothing like that. I am not talking about a product Microsoft is making, I am suggesting Microsoft ditching the Flight Simulator altogether might have been a good thing 5 years down the line.

You still don't understand. Microsoft Flight is a dead project, the studio behind it got closed down. Now a very well known developer in the FS community said: In five years time you might be able to say it was the best decision they have done.

Why did he say that? Because there is projects being worked on as replacement and updated simulators. Not created by Microsoft.
