It would be against the law. National laws can transcend (or specifically, ascend) into space. It's much the same way as killing or raping someone when abroad. The nations involved on the ISS or the company involved with taking Bieber to space will have to abide by the laws of the country(s) they operate in.

So if you have an idea of taking an enemy into space to dispose of them, you might as well be doing it in your front garden because location makes very little difference

As for the topic. Meh, it's no major feat. these days. Good on him if he's interested in this sort of thing.

Hardly becoming an astronaut. Let's hope this isn't another Challenger...

Wouldn't surprise me that many celebs are doing this though, but I wouldn't do it if I had the money.
I read apparently the dentition of Astronaut was someone who'd went so far into space so all people will be officially classed as one. Wonder if this will annoy people who do it for a job.

I myself would love to see it if I could afford it in the future. Would probably be better waiting knowing its safe.

The technical definition is someone that has been trained for it, but in recent years with space tourism it's pretty much changed to be anyone that goes into space. If I were a proper astronaut, I would be annoyed at headlines like this, so I can imagine others are.

naut is from the Greek word for navigator or sailor, and is applied to things like astronaut, aeronaut, Nautilus, aquanaut etc so yeah it generally ought to be used for people who actually know how to pilot the craft but oh well
