My initial reaction was no. I don't feel ready to have kids yet let alone be in a relationship with someone with kids. But in the future I may be accepting of it.

Yes, but I'd make it clear that they are the parent and I'm not; I wouldn't want to be expected to do things for the kid, but I'll help out as long as I'm not going out of my way to do so.
