Would you rather be lonely or have fake friends

I mean, it's not all that bad. You get to have some peace and don't have the risk of 'friends' saying rude stuff about you behind your back etc

I wouldn't want to be lonely, I would say thats one of my fears. I would however prefer to have fewer true friends than more fake friends.

Lonely. There's a difference between being alone (numerical) and feeling lonely (personal) anyway. You can be surrounded by people and still feel lonely. I'm an independent person so I'd choose being alone over having fake friends because I'm at a stage in my life where I do not need to seek the comfort of others, however fake it may be, to feel like I'm worth something.
