Jimmy Carr, Sean Lock and David Mitchell are the ones that instantly spring to mind.
I love Stephen Fry, but wouldn't consider him a comedian... more of an actor.
I hate Phill Jupitus. I don't find him funny at all. A lot of female comedians are the same, I'm afraid to say. Andi Osho tends to just talk about her ethnicity, which I find predictable and boring (but then again, many comedians talk about what makes them different; not my cup of tea, though). Jo Brand and a few notable examples do redeem comediennes, though.
