It is still a hotel in the sense that the main feature, creating rooms, still exists. However, with things like the Game Center it makes it seem less like a hotel .

    Not online very often

It's one of those crazy hotels that has everything and anything in them and you also get charged over the top prices for a one night stay!

I do think with the removal of some public rooms it has made it seem less like a hotel, since everything is all private it's more of a large apartment building. Things like the Game Centre also kinda remove the hotel feel.

They're still called Habbo Hotel on their emails though.

i find habbo more of an adventure than a hotel tbh, but ages back it used to be a propper hotel, like things were made to mimic what a real hotel would look like.

The only time it really demonstrably feels like a hotel is when you first sign up. They have a cool little set-up that gives the illusion that you're checking into a hotel etc.

When I remark on it I simply say Habbo; I don't think many people still use "hotel".

If I ever spoke of Habbo irl, I'd still say Hotel.
