Always found it to be the most boring bit going. All about the tycoon/business stuff.

It is possibly the best EP Maxis/EA have ever done

The trailers didn't really reveal much. The emotions thing seems very limiting in gameplay, but it's early days. I won't get it on release, I won't be duped like with The Sims 3, it was dreadful :/

Apparently The Sims 4 will not come with Create a Style as standard. It seems EA are hoping to out do The Sims 3 by making The Sims 4 the worst game.

Genuinely cannot believe they would do that.

It's essentially The Sims 2 as far as customisation goes. You won't be able to alter your Sims' clothes, furniture, cars, wallpaper, flooring etc. It wouldn't surprise me they have done this so you end up buying more useless junk from their Sim Store, as we all know now that they won't bulk up their expansion and stuff packs more than they feel is necessary The announcement was done by one of EAs braindead PR employees, who said there are no plans for a Create A Style system in The Sims 4 in the base game, and they may release it later in a patch, which is just an excuse to charge lots of money for the base game with very few features.

Create-A-Sim is still going ahead, but it's just one feature that does roughly the same thing as what you will find in Spore, but will not be used again once you're in gameplay. EA have essentially cut out yet another important gameplay feature :/

Create-A-Sim is the most boring bit of the game.

Doubt I will be purchasing it either way - not something I intend to spend my time on when Uni comes around, barely touch the Sims 3 anyway!

I'm the same, but it's so annoying that EA took over the franchise and feel the need to kill it

Also, there's no news of a Mac version (to the extent where it's been confirmed there isn't) which will anger so many people - even though the Mac version of The Sims 3 is/was rubbish.
