You could have a look at some HTCs, they kept up with QWERTY keyboards quite late on as well as touchscreens and I think most of their phones are androids.

If you still want the ability to use phone as a touch screen for anything but typing, then look at this

    http://uk.blackberry.com/smartphones...bold-9900.html

Qwerty keyboard but can swipe screen.

http://www.gsmarena.com/nokia_e7-3545.php dunno about that its like 3 yrs old though gl, pretty much what everyone else has said about looking at blackberrys is the best choice.

have connection to what? I don't see what's difficult to understand about me needing a new phone but ok

Problem with blackberrys: I was told they are a pain in the ass to scroll up and down

I'm actually looking into these 3.

The HTCs look cute and I love the keyboard they have and the fact they are touch make it like my dream phone!

Blackberrys break too easily so I'm gonna try and stay away from them, everyone advises me not to get one.

About the Nokie e7, same thing I said about the HTC.

    Thank you guys!

I get told they break easily and the scrolling thing doesn't work after a few weeks.

Why is it difficult to get a connection in Scotland..?
