Actually Sony has had 7 released.

    Playstation 1
    Playstation 1 (Small)
    Playstation 2
    Playstation 2 (small)
    PSP
    Pocket Station 1
Pocket Station 2 (Both hand held) :p

I do realise that The small versions are they same as the aboved items but they were released under different names which makes them a new product in the eys of a consumer.

If you count the Playstation 3, thats 8.

I agree that Nintendo did release them first but, Gameboy was pants, Gameboy Colour only was good for Pokemon. :p And GBA was only good for Sonic. xP

Snes was there best one by far and sold most.

Sony has been around less, yes, but, they have sold double what Nintendo has because of what they first released... The playstation.

Google search them if you want.

They're hand held small things that played games on them, they also attached the PS1 to enhance gameplay in some games.

Like what you can do with Gameboy's and Gamecubes, etc...

Bullplop. Nintendo still rules, no matter how many consoles you make up (Not saying that they were made up but never heard of them) Nintendo owns.

I really couldn't careless how many consoles a company has released. You can try as many times as you like and still not get it right, and likewise you could strike gold on your first attempt at making a console.

I don't pick what console I want anyway. I look at the games I like and then decide from there which console is the right choice for me.
