Please vote for either Kidney Kids or MediCinema.

Kidney Kids is a small charity that provides vital equipment to renal units across Scotland, this includes dialysis machines. The renal unit at The Royal Hospital for Sick Children (Yorkhill Hospital) in gets very little funding and has rely on this charity to provide dialysis machines. Dialysis helps the child with either kidney failure or problems until they can get a suitable transplant. They have a new scheme out to try and get home dialysis machines so children don't have to travel all the way from home (some children leave 50 miles away from the hospital) at various times in the week to get their dialysis. Your money would help the children lead a more normal life.

Medicinema is a charity I volunteer for. There is a cinema in various hospitals throughout the UK and this means that children that cannot leave hospital can get outside of the hospital ward for a few hours and watch a film twice a week. If a child cannot walk or is bed-ridden then they can be transported down to the cinema by the volunteers so no one misses out. The hospital I volunteer for is a children's hospital seeing the children's faces light up when they see you come down the corridor to their room is something I look forward to every week.

Thanks if you could vote these charities, it would make a big difference to both of them. I know there are the standard charities like Cancer Research, NSPCC etc who need money but they get tons of donations every single day, why not give it to the smaller charities who are in great need of it?

But 4real if you'd rather pay for dog food than help put an end to pandemic tragedies that affect millions upon millions of lives constantly then you need to have your voting rights taken away until you pass a basic IQ and humanity test

    My god!
This is so hard, great to see such a large selection of charities.

    I voted for a couple.

    Please vote for SANDS

Sands is a stillbirth and a neonatal death charity. Sands not only provides bereavement support to families who have faced a loss but also conduct research studies on what causes a stillbirth or neonatal death and how can/can it be reduced/prevented.

Research projects at the moment include:
AFFIRM – can promoting awareness of baby’s movements in pregnancy help reduce stillbirths? Would a campaign to highlight the importance of reporting a reduction in baby’s movements (RFM) straightaway help the maternity team identify babies who need immediate help? - See more at: http://www.uk-sands.org/research/cur....sRxMmt3x.dpuf

Improving perinatal post mortem data collection for stillborn babies

A study aiming to improve the collection of perinatal post mortem data for stillborn babies.
    - See more at: http://www.uk-sands.org/research/cur....sRxMmt3x.dpuf

It's not letting me c+p all the projects but please have a look on the following link and vote for SANDS. Thank you.
