edit: umm, I've got two room infos and zoom in/out bits, one at the bottom left and one at the top right

talked to uber, and the chat will merge with the bar at the bottom if enough room when minimized or whatever. Great

the best bit about it all is that there is a hide button for everything

Definitely an improvement, lots more space available for those with a limited resolution. Crazy to think they'll be enabling all these UI changes at once for users once it's out of 'beta', however once everybody gets used to it and the protests to change it back are over, it'll be amazing.
