    Try this:
    Go to Google Dashboard. Scroll down to Chrome Sync and click Manage Chrome Sync (actually ignore first step and go here instead). Then press on Stop and Clear. It will remove everything you synchronised on Chrome but the browser will resync - though I think you have to sign in to sync again.

    All my bookmarks etc are synced. Will this clear them on both ends or will they stay on my desktop?
