1 55 magic is easy, I did it on my pure in a hour, Just normal training... It may have taken about 2hours comming to think of it, Alcing is a poor method to get magic EXP. Alcing is rubbish as it takes too long and everone does it theyfor its hard to get a hold of.

High alching is the best, and cheapest way to get magic exp.
Each nature rune only costs 300gp, and you can get that money back by high alching, so it pretty much costs you nothing.
Nats are easy to get hold of, you can buy tons of them on the forum (that's if you can't make them)
And no way you can get to 55 magic in an hour, or even 2 hours.
