    I would accept one and I would give one to someone in my family, depending on who. Then again, that sounds a bit harsh. I probably would, but I don't know.

    I'm not sure how true that bit is, it could have been that he pushed him out the way to make sure my nan got the transfusion. When I say years ago though, I'd say probably about 40-50, a long time. Unless he just made sure my granddad didn't come in the room. I've only met my granddad once though, and that's enough I was about 1 year old - no one really got on with him and he was horrid to my nan, so it wouldn't have surprised me if he got pushed down the stairs.

    yes, blood transfusions are only really done when necessary for life, i dont understand why you wouldn't consent to it

    I would but it always depends on what family member it is, i mean i have quite a lot of family i don't see/speak to and don't make an effort to actually talk to me so i wouldn't go out of my way to do anything for them. But yeah if it was someone i really cared for, i would and i wouldn't even have to think about it either.
