If your default search engine has also changed alongside URL redirects, then it's definitely a virus. Happened to me once by downloading a safe program that also came with an unsafe add-on .

As well as a full scan as previously suggested, try looking into your control panel uninstall program list for anything that shouldn't be there.

If you're unsure, Google the name and there will be several pages of people asking what the program is for and whether it is safe to remove or not.

Probably best to do a full system scan for viruses, malware, adware etc etc.

Yes it was, however I didn't tell people how much I did win apart from 3 people, so thanks.

It's not a virus I can assure you of that, I don't think it would have just happened for a minute if it was.
