    That article is so over-exaggerated. Children were invited to see it being cut up, they didn't kill it in front of visitors for the sake of putting the wrath of God into the minds of the children, with a meat clever in one hand pointing at the weakest children shouting "YOU'RE NEXT!" It's been written to scare dumb Brits who are so namby pamby it's almost sickening.

    Giraffes are not endangered and are common as muck. Good, "local" food for a lion.

    I also wondered why the article was complaining that it was in front of children - surely their parents could have decided to not let them watch?

    Precisely Plus they're Danish - this sort of thing is fascinating to them, while in this country there would be endless debates about how children are being subjected to gore and will go on to commit mass-murders or suffer from PTSD.
