I don't know. I know my sister-in-law's friend has just gotten engaged and her fiance sent her on a hunt through the whole of their city, leaving a rose and a card with the clue to the next place on it. She did it with all of her friends, who were all in on it

I don't know what I'd want though. Definitely not something with other people watching in case I wanted to say no. Probably just a quiet but nice meal (or supernice takeaway or something) before the proposal.

Start with a nice dinner at a fancy Mexican restaurant and then go to a rooftop with a nice view (the guy would of set it up so there is roses and music playing) and then he gets out a ring and bam! My own little love story right there

The perfect proposal for me wouldn't need to be anything too big or spectacular. It would include my significant other and I of course, it would take place at a beautiful secluded reservoir in Alaska. It's night, the sky is full of thousands and thousands of stars. We're star gazing, we can see mars. (It's one of those nights). We're cuddling close. Our fingers intertwined, my head rested upon his broad shoulders. It's quiet, quiet enough to hear each others thoughts. It would be most unexpected. He turns my head and softly caresses my cheek. He slowly sits up and begins to express his ever lasting love for me. He then reaches in his coat pocket, pulling out the most extravagant ring I have ever gazed my eyes upon. With his sincere eyes looking deeply into mine, he begins to start a speech until... the interruption that would take a drastic change in fate. Emerging from the vast fogs that surround the reservoir, it appears to be a boat. I hear a faint voice. "STOP!" it shouts. The voice it couldn't be him. Of all people.... As the dark masked shadow passing through the fog becomes visible, the luminous light of the moon shines down upon him. I can clearly see him now. His boat makes its way to shore, he jumps out without hesitation and runs to me. "What we had was beautiful Crystal, I can't believe I threw it all away!" he begins. "I was young then, and too foolish to realize... to realize you are worth more than the moon and the sun! Than the stars in the night sky!" I stand up on two feet, blandly looking in his eyes. I say to him with full rage in my voice. "How could you!!" I mumble. Loud enough for him to hear. "I waited for you... I passed the days by the sound of your name!" I am now nearly in tears. "I waited and waited for you, and now of all times this is when you finally let the rivers guide you in?!". He falls down to his knees before me. Taking my my left hand into his. He looks me into the eyes. "I did it all for you" he says softly. "I wanted nothing but the best for you! I wanted you to always live the life you dreamed of." he continues. "I will not ask for your forgiveness, I do not deserve it... I DO NOT DESERVE YOU" I try to interrupt but he doesn't let me... "Crystal, I want to spend the rest of my life making up the time we missed, I want to make up for the pain I put you through.. I". I stop him... "Please" I say. Now on my knees with him, meeting eye to eye. "Don't say another word. I FORGIVE YOU, I FORGIVE YOU!". We are now both in tears. "Crystal" he begins. "Will you make me the happiest man on earth.. will you be my wife?" "YES" I shout with joy. "Yes, yes, yes James Franco, yes!" It is then sealed with a passionate kiss. When he then lifts me up and puts me on the back of a white stallion in which just conveniently happened to appear. James Franco and I then ride into the night together, ready to start our new life.
