    Thanks for all the feedback guys, as i said its my first ever portfolio design so its bound to be rubbish and Jack! I actually agree with you, I like the header but when it came to the rest of the design I went braindead lol

    As someone has mentioned if it's for a portfolio to entice future possible clients you will need to design it yourself as seeing someone else has designed it will put other people off

    But why did your friend code it when it says your a web designer and developer on your site's homepage - my point is if your a web developer but having to get someone to code your own website you'll struggle to get customers

    Your last comments didn't answer anything yeah it might be rubbish if it's your first but if your a web developer and a web designer it would make sense having everything done by yourself design and code wise but each to their own

    That's not really a good enough excuse. You're apparently a web designer/developer, no matter how many other sites you're working on there is only one site in your whole career as a designer/developer that is supposed to be 100% you, and it's your portfolio. A portfolio is meant to be a representation of you, not a bit of you and a bit of your friend.
