@GommeInc; you need to have your google+ attached to be able to comment now, maybe more stuff as well.

I liked the concept of google+ when it first came out, I thought it would be a more sophisticated kind of social network hub to use but facebook is currently quite firm in it's seating right now. I don't think they'll close it down though, they probably want a fresh face to push it forward, much like myspace is still going.

Ah I haven't seen for a while, thanks for clearing that up. I can still use my nickname for YouTube but haven't commented, so maybe they're allowing users to still use nicknames if they used to?

YouTube seems to have improved since all this began. People seem less likely to leave angry, hurtful messages and tend to be a bit more civil. I prefer Google+ for discussions while Facebook will always have the edge with keeping in touch with friends and socialising.
