You'll be forced to eventually anyway but yeah, it's made a massive improvement on the speed of my system. It's a great update equal to a service pack, should deffo go for it.

I just finished installing windows 8.1 and said it's complete, but nothing is happening now? It said something would pop up as an agreement thing and so on, nothing has though?

Nope, nothing's updated to windows 8.1 but it's completed installing.
