Quickly and painlessly. I'd hate to see myself/let my family see me deteriorate to nothing.

not sure, cuz yes i'd like to die painlessly but i wouldn't want to die without any warning, like i don't want it to be unexpected because no one would see it coming sigh i don't like thinking about it

Reading this thread at first, I was thinking "of course I'd rather go quickly, why would anyone wanna die slowly?"... but then I stopped thinking about me and started thinking about others. I'd rather my other half, family and friends get some extra time in with me so I can make sure they're ready for me to go!

depends what you mean by slowly... I'd prefer it quick, but if slowly doesn't include slow pain, I wouldn't mind.

I'd like some warning but not "slowly". Chances are if I get a terminal illness I'd end up taking my own life. However, if we imagine I don't have that option, then I would choose slowly.
