but other people want stickers

I agree with Mike here. I'm almost sure it's caused arguments in the past because people don't agree that someone should be on the list. The same has also happened with the Habbox Merit award on the forum.

Sir comity seems fitting for me imo
change it to knighhoods
Back when I was content manager I believe either Samanfa or laura were working on updating the hall of fame, I think following a feedback thread it was ultimately determined not to be worth the hassle.
Chippiewill.
Wasnt me who did it?:S cough cough @Headlines;It still exists as an active award, and it's on the main site via Habbox History > https://habbox.com/#!/HallOfFame
I looked on the site and then the Habbox Wiki page for it, and it says for some 'Former HoF members' which seems rather strange to me as I thought the award/honour was permanent unless in exceptional circumstances. Making it yearly(?) rather undermines it in my opinion.

Since when did this change happen? Haven't seen it announced or explained.
I see no reason for 'former members' but I did always wonder why the honour never had a forum badge/award made for it.

I was working on it when I was in Content, but the list was never definite so to speak as things happen over the years and some may not feel that X is worthy whereas they think Y is and so on.
I believe Headlines has added the former members of it, but I could be wrong so don't quote me on it! I remember coming across it not too long ago which I found a bit odd too mainly with some of the former ones I don't agree with. HotelUser deserves to be on the Hall Of Fame, and I think many would agree with that (hopefully), I can't comment on many of the others as I came after they had done their bit.
The reasons to be put on the Hall Of Fame aren't really known as I think so many different ones could be used.
This thread in feedback has come up more times than I can remember over the years. It definitely does create more hassle as people will always agree and disagree with the decisions you make to put people onto the list.
The list was updated and a lot of people taken off of the list about a month or so ago. The list was provisionally made and we were looking to add other people to the Hall of Fame, however with the change of management in the department other things became more of a priority and this was forgotten about.
The list isn't definitive just yet, but the step was made to make it more "exclusive", it was starting to look like another Habbox Merit group which we don't really want as really they're for two different things. I was also looking into maybe adding some community users into the Hall of Fame, as far as I am aware it has always been members of current or former staff that have been on the list. Also, the idea of a forum award etc sounds fantastic and shall be looked into.
If people want to put names forward or recommend that people are moved from the former to the main list then that's fine. We will then review the names and make a final conclusion as to whom will be on the Hall of Fame.
don't see the point in having one if there's the habbox merit scheme
Hall of Fame is for those who have done more than Habbox Merit requires. For instance a manager who has been in the job for 12 months will become a member of Habbox Merit, they most probably wouldn't have made significant contributions to be put on the Hall of Fame list.
there's hardly a massive difference though? if they've made significant contributions just give them the outstanding achievement award or whatever it's called, which i'm sure is used for the same reason? whats the point in having similar award systems when you could be working on something worthwhile and isn't similar to something already in placeHall of Fame is for those who have done more than Habbox Merit requires.
