Ever since I joined habbo (2003 not 2011 lol) it's had different versions of the same groups we see today, I just wasn't as conscious of them then as you might be now. There's always been moaners, there's always been bullies and racists, it's just that the internet has evolved and become so much more accessible that children are falling into those classes quicker and more easily. The community hasn't ruined habbo, it's just the internet age moving forward in general and habbo becoming less and less desirable because of its want to keep its older users happy but simultaneously draw in newer and younger ones. so long as there are a range of different ways to participate there will always be a community and a habbo hotel. I'm fed up of people banging on about a "golden age" as they rock in their chairs and sip their ovaltine. Perhaps it's just time to... you know... move on?

For a product like Habbo to evolve it also has to move with the current social and mental revisions that a today's society would deem applicable but the thing is, Habbo has evolved as a product in the somewhat general direction it should be going in but the community have hauled and decided to go backwards, so you'll have a spiral of discontinuation between the community and Habbo
and the saddest thing is, I don't think the community can change for the better.

In what ways has habbo moved forward so much that the community isn't quite keeping up or swimming against the tide? It's an interesting point but it isn't quite expanded. Any community is capable of change, it's the fact that the main portion of the current community is getting older and wanting more that habbo can't quite offer.

That's just how life has developed.. Nothing could be done to stop the inevitable. People grow up and new people join, the immaturity was bound to happen.

since the mute habbo has died and lost an INCREDIBLE amount of members. we had about over 9 million on a day before the mute and in 2011 that was a good year we got about 11 million on everyday and that was so epic. you could always interact with people when you went to games such as big brother you wouldn't be stuck with the same cast nowardays there's so less people on habbo like 2000 not even joking and ur stuck with the same cast in the same games and it's just not fun. it's either your friends being your allies and your "OLD" enemies being your enemies but more to the point sulake has lost a lot of money that's why they're bringing out overpriced rares and ****** up prices of credit exchange i think personally habbo is one load of ******** at the moment but at the same time me and everyone else loves playing it irregardless of all the changes being made to it.

Habbo was never even close to having over 9million active users everyday hahahha. It might have been the accounts made but a good day back on the old days was like 12-16000. Now were lucky if we see 5000 and that's with the merge.

i agree there's many people around which are from the merge if there wasn't i think there'd only be about 1000 on a day - at this rate sulake will eventually have to shut and yeah i definitely remember the 16000 days god loved them.

i don't understand why you've made this out to be derogative, oh no!! hording a name, arrest them at once

    chill

if you really dislike how habbo is and the type of people that play why don't you leave instead of writing a thread about it, it isn't like a thread about it will change anything
