    no!

like at at uni when we get results for second year there was a notice for those who had successfully passed to 3rd year. there isn't a notice for those who have failed, you see what i mean? it doesn't seem really nice.

exactly, isn't it better people go work out who it is rather than clearly state 'all these people have passed except this one or two' idk to me if i was staff id feel awkward if everyone passed and i failed then it was shown to everyone lol as i would in a real life educational or work situation
but ok if having to post they failed is soooo important then we will keep everything as it is

Yeah, I absolutely hate failing or firing people. If I do, it's because of their lack of activity and not because they aren't good enough. Worst part is kicking people out of staff chats though

perhaps it should be worded a bit more sensitively - just like how we don't say "x has been fired. thanks for your time" perhaps it can be "x is no longer a trialist at HxHD - thanks for your short time with us!" or something like that - rather than "x has failed their trial"

I always thought we had to put "x is no longer staff, we'd like to thank them for their time" Because just saying "x has failed" seems a bit mean they may not be active enough but you should at least thank for their time

yeah that's what i mean like shouldn't they be saying "is no longer staff" rather than "failed their trial"? then again, unless its been changed since i was hxl manager, there was no official guide or style to posting staff updates
