The american doctor is being moved to a specialized and prepared hospital to treat him, with safe transport. Ebola is not transmitted on air by the way.

it says on the bbc website that its transferred through blood, bodily fluids and somethingabout internal organs. you wont get ebola. its mainly affecting poor countries who can't all afford clean water.

Bringing people back is the right thing to do imo because put yourselves in their shoes. if your country refused to let you go home because you're ill, how would you feel?

Putting myself in their shoes, I wouldn't even travel there in the first place. They could kill millions by bringing a deadly disease to America which could easily mutate, becoming airborne. In an urbanised environment such as the USA, this is a disaster.

Well currently, Ebola can only survive in a fluids, and is not yet "Airborne" BUT, they can be trapped in airborne heavy water particles. Which can occur from someone simply sneezing. The particles dont stay in the air to long, and can't travel that far.

The article does not say "someone from Wales is infected", it says someone from Wales may be infected but they are not sure. It's very likely nothing dangerous, but they're right to be cautious nonetheless. They also have a good plan with what to do with the patient if it does turn out to be ebola.

For now, I don't believe it'll kill us all. Like Rhyss said, life-threatening diseases are popping up all the time which are supposedly "endangering the world's population", but hey we're all still here. We'll just have to watch and see what happens. Wash your hands, folks:¬:

Pretty much what I think too. They over-exaggerated about swine flu, claiming thousands had died when it was only about 136 and that was direct exposure rather than spread through the air as was the claim at the time.
