    Apparently more Tory MPs - but also Labour MPs - are considering defecting to Ukip based on the result of this by-election.

    Nope but I know a few from that area and it's been all over Heart Essex and the news Loads are tempted to vote for him as he's a good politician in general, regardless of political persuasion.

    Good to see 'the Sun' has got its priorities sorted for the main headline, as always!

    On the local news today, there were a few people being interviewed saying they would vote for Douglas, because they have done before now.

    Incidentally, another UKIP party member is angry, claiming that the constituency was his, not Douglas'.
