I dont know whats changed exactly.

And why not? There should at least be deductions from positive numbers displayed since currently it shows crappy and abusive posts as being popular and respected which is far more of a negative display than showing what's unpopular

I can't help it if I'm not told the specific details of something technical. Either Matt or Tom might answer you.

Well I'm not going to go into it here right now. It's been discussed countless times in the past so if you go back and search then you'll probably find the answer you're looking for.

You can help it if you can't even make your staff pass you a note when they make major changes to the site you're running

The only response in the past has been "BUT IT'S SO NEGATIVE!!!!", you're just passing off the question because you can't be bothered as with most things at the moment it appears. Telling people to be patient all the time while doing nothing isn't a response

Neither Matt or Tom are my staff so I can't force them to do anything. They work above me on the technical things which don't generally make their way to me unless I ask after finding out the issue. I'll also have you know that I sent a message to Tom with a link to this thread as soon as I read this thread. There is nothing more I can do than that right now. I'm sorry if you disagree, but this isn't something that can be blamed on me.

Secondly, I'm not going into it here because this thread isn't for that discussion. If you want to go and discuss it and drag it all up again then there is nothing stopping you from making a thread to discuss it in feedback.

We're no longer using the Sphinx search plugin because digitalpoint jacked up the renewal price and no one wants to pay for it.

Ah right so just a switch to a different provider basically, are there functional changes or just waiting for it to rebuild and then business as usual?
