I have spoken to a few friends of mine on Habbo about casinos since they were made banned. What I had learned is that people who gambled regularly on Habbo have also gambled in real life. This really only applied to people who were 18 years or older although some people have told me that they gambled anyway through friends, their dad, etc.

For myself, I wasn't a very big casino person on Habbo as I never had enough credits for it and hadn't put much effort into making a profit on Habbo like I do now through trading. If gambling on Habbo was allowed today, I would be also sitting in a booth making a profit that way as well as trading today.

You might be surprised to read what I am about to say but I am actually against the idea of gambling on Habbo and I am happy that it is no longer allowed.

Since very late 2013 when I turned 18, I have been gambling, you could say it's been exactly a year since I started. I have also been following my bets and entering them all in a database using excel. I record what event I bet on, what the type of bet is, stake, odds, returns and a running balance (all stakes minus all returns). That running balance is at roughly -$7,000.00 (AUD).

You could say that I have a gambling problem. You could say that I don't have a gambling problem yet, but I need to watch out. But you would be crazy to say neither of them. I barely earn $14,000 a year as an 18-year-old as a pizza delivery driver and I've thrown literally half of it away.

How did this start? Casinos on Habbo? I can't put full blame on Habbo for my $7,000 loss. But I will at least partially.

You spent that much on Habbo? Omg.

Casinos are still around. Plus dice are certainly not the only way to bet on Habbo.

I would disagree and say Habbo gambling had nothing to do with your current "addiction" (whatever you want to call it). If you weren't gambling on Habbo, why would you then have become addicted to gambling a few months later? That's like saying I see people using the internet all the time so now I'm addicted to the internet?

Did you misread or is this a joke I didn't get He said he spends $7000 on gambling in real life and he blames this on Habbo

Also, as an answer to the OP, I know you can run grabbers by using Scoreboards instead of holodice so you only need 2 dice in the room. I once ran a grabber well before the ban that used Scoreboards instead because I thought it looked neater. No idea about casinos though. Never used them.

No, sorry I guess I didn't make the clear, I've down $7,000 AUD in real life.

I was gambling on Habbo, but it was more wasn't regularly. I didn't really have a lot to gamble with.

Yeah, at least partially or plays a part. I think gambling really has and can carry out into real life if one begins to have a problem with it and it certainly seems to be the case amongst other people on Habbo, talk to them if you find any who run little secret casinos on Habbo these days. Some behaviours, decisions and reactions made in Habbo when it comes to gambling can sometimes be just like in real life. Get to know what a gambling addiction is like, it's pretty serious stuff and ruins peoples lives. Be happy that it's banned on Habbo now.
