Do you listen to habboxlive? [Yes/No]
    Yes.

Do you listen to other habbo radio stations? [Yes / No]
    No. (dedicated habboxer here guys)

What does other radio stations have that habboxlive does not have?
UPBEAT DJS. It shocks me listening to people who sound bored to death with their listeners.. I find a lot of the DJs barely interact with the people tuning in, just saying the generic "let me check the requests... no requests... send them in.. ok." *awkward mumble* ACT LIKE YOU ACTUALLY WANT TO BE ON AIR.

Would you tune in if there was more shows dedicated to specific genres that you may enjoy? [Yes / No]
Yeah, probably as long as it was advertised properly and I knew straight out what it was about.

If 'Yes' to the last question, what sort of music genre shows would you like to hear?
Into anything really, bit more indie, rock, alternative.

If you were to be placed in the management role of this department tomorrow, what would you change?
I would stop hiring people who have crap mics and who aren't upbeat lol.

Would you tune in more often if there was bigger habbo related prizes? [Yes / No]
Yeah, honestly it seems like nobody ever offer prizes anymore. It seems like a lot of the time they expect people will just tune in when they're not offering anything for them to tune in for.

Would you tune into the station if there was prizes for non-habbo related prizes? (Giftcards etc) [Yes / No]
Yeah, totally. Winning anything is great (A)

    What does habboxlive lack in?
Like I've mentioned, upbeat people, good mics, interactive djs. It shocks me knowing that some staff are being promoted and when I tune into them they bore me to death. People need to know what they're going to talk about when they go on air instead of mumbling, tell stories etc. (pretty sure there's threads on these).

A lot of my answers are very similar because I think these things need to be pushed.

What does other radio stations have that habboxlive does not have?
Not sure, don't tune in or look at them. All I know is that Habboquests usually have high listeners because there's a reason to go to the site overall. Who knows how many of them are actually listening.

    Habbo, Habbo, Habbo.

The problem with feedback threads is that HxL management could do everything they say and the vast majority here still wouldn't tune in (even if they did say Yes that they would, I copied and pasted scott's for mine so at least he admitted it lol). It needs more focus on Habbo, not less. It needs to be based more on Habbo not pandering to a niche market that are highly unlikely to tune in no matter what is done. It needs to get more involved with the Habbox Habbo community (dwindling as it is) so that people know who they actually are - it is no coincidence (or surprise) the DJs that get more listeners are the people that people know.

I agree that HabboxLive department as a whole does need to be more interactive department for the community, I did suggest a few events to Kimmy for that to happen that I used when I was manager and it did work quite well.

I know there are some people who commented on the quality of DJing, perhaps there should be a two step part of the application process.. theres a trial server, maybe get people to apply then put them on that for 10 minutes and get them to connect and disconnect and actually pretend they are DJing which is something I feel should be introduced especially since just a voice clip doesn't really show much now does it? . That way you can see what they would actually be like on the radio and it gives you time to help them get any DJing software and show them how to use it etc.

There are quite a few weekly shows that are listed on the HabboxLive site too which I feel could really get the community involved, more interactive shows, the key to success is getting the community involved with HabboxLive without community interaction it just won't go well.

Do you listen to habboxlive? [Yes/No]
Occasionally. Probably more no than yes.

Do you listen to other habbo radio stations? [Yes / No]
    Not at all.

What does other radio stations have that habboxlive does not have?
A regular and reliable schedule, professionalism, top-quality music, celebrity guests. I wouldn't expect Habboxlive to be able to have these things. But they still need something to make them unique and I think it's up to the Radio Manager to work out what that is and flaunt it. It's just not good enough to play some music and chat.

Would you tune in if there was more shows dedicated to specific genres that you may enjoy? [Yes / No]
NO. The best type of radio show offers as many genres of music as they can within the hour to accommodate to different tastes. It's great when I fall in love with a song I'd never even have thought to listen to because the radio played it.

If 'Yes' to the last question, what sort of music genre shows would you like to hear?

If you were to be placed in the management role of this department tomorrow, what would you change?
Ban streaming altogether. I disagree with the idea that streaming is better than being offline for two reasons. One is that sometimes I see DJs on Habbo who want to actually DJ (with talking and audience interaction) right then and there but can't because some idiot is streaming to get their hours up. The second reason is that streaming being better than silence simply isn't true. I'm sorry, but I tune in for DJs because I like their personality and enjoy their shows. If I wanted to listen to pure music, I'd use Spotify because then I can listen to what I want.

Focus on DJs interacting with their audience. I mentioned up that Habboxlive can't offer things big 'official' radio stations like Kiss can offer. The one thing it has that those big stations don't is that the DJs *should* know their audience personally. (I say *should* because a lot don't.) A show is always so much more interesting if a DJ is in the Help Desk or the event laughing along on air. It entices people into the room to see what's going on and it encourages listeners to stay tuned in to hear what happens next. I understand some DJs can't DJ and be on client because it lags them out, but in this case you must be doing competitions (such as write a short story and send it in through the competition line, tell me your best chat-up line, etc.), double DJing, involving the forum somehow, just anything you can to keep your listeners occupied. "Oh I can't interact because I can't come on Habbo" is NOT a good enough excuse and should not be tolerated. DJs cannot and should not expect their listeners to tune in; they need to work for it.

A plan needs to be set up to attract regular listeners who keep coming back. We should really start off with big giveaways to get HabboxLive well known to Habbo users, then immediately follow the giveaway with an experienced DJ (someone like Gina who's been here a long time and is reliable when it comes to entertaining their listeners) to keep the chat going for at least another hour, perhaps doing some small on-air competitions to win 5 - 10c per comp. It's awful when there's been a big giveaway and it ends and the radio just goes off air. HabboxLive immediately loses every single listener they managed to gain and may as well have not had the giveaway at all.

Would you tune in more often if there was bigger habbo related prizes? [Yes / No]
Three years ago I would have said yes as the prizes were the things that got me tuned in. Now I couldn't care less about furni or credits, I tune in because the competitions are fun. The prize makes no difference to me; the only thing that would get me participating in competitions is if they were fun. The best comps are the ones that are like 'tell me your best joke' or 'tell me your most embarrassing story'. Something that gets the DJ interacting with the audience and getting to know them better. I cannot STAND the competitions that are like 'How many tables are in the Help Desk? (((:" because they're so impersonal and boring.

Would you tune into the station if there was prizes for non-habbo related prizes? (Giftcards etc) [Yes / No]
I don't know what the "etc" would be as all I can think of are gift cards. I would never want to participate in a competition to win a gift card though.

    What does habboxlive lack in?

    • I kind of answered this in my massive essay answer above but:
    • Loyal listeners who come back regularly and tune in for certain shows
    • Advertisement of weekly shows. Apparently there are some but idek what they are. Whilst I'm on the subject of weekly shows, is it possible for a DJ to have a weekly thing on Saturdays at 7pm? Would be great to get all the people participating in SNQ to tune in and they seem like easy targets to get to listen.
    • Variety when it comes to genre. There's more than what's been in the charts in the last 12 months.
    • Interesting DJs. I swear to God I'm sick of hearing "ermMMM well there are no requests or shoutouts so I'm just gonna play some Taylor Swift anddd yeah get your requests and shoutouts in everyone" every single goddamn time the DJ speaks. On this subject, I think HabboxLive needs to realise that you don't just have to promote someone for the sake of wanting someone to promote. If they aren't getting good listener stats, keep them where they are. If you have a spare Head DJ slot and no one fits the bill, advertise to everyone (not just HxL staff) so anyone can apply.

Oh no I've just read everyone else's answers and they're like one line I'm so sorry for writing pages and pages. Hope it helps anyway, good luck Ripieno whoever u are xx

•Do you listen to habboxlive? [Yes/No] Yes
•Do you listen to other habbo radio stations? [Yes / No] No
•What does other radio stations have that habboxlive does not have? The listeners currently, which is unfortunate. I've been on a few times and there's only me listening. I think it comes more with streaming being common when I tune in.
•Would you tune in if there was more shows dedicated to specific genres that you may enjoy? [Yes / No] No, usually it's a specific DJ or if they accept requests and I like the songs playing.
•If 'Yes' to the last question, what sort of music genre shows would you like to hear? N/A
•If you were to be placed in the management role of this department tomorrow, what would you change? I would ensure DJs were being active, not just squeezing in their slots at the last minute and making sure that discipline was apparent. I've noticed it in the past that it hasn't occurred and it did improve, but unfortunately it seems that because it's a weekly job and they're only required to DJ 2-3 hours they become lazy which shouldn't be the case. I remember last year the radio was on for 168 hours - a full week, you don't see that anymore.
•Would you tune in more often if there was bigger habbo related prizes? [Yes / No] Yes
•Would you tune into the station if there was prizes for non-habbo related prizes? (Giftcards etc) [Yes / No] Yes
    •What does habboxlive lack in?

Habboxlive just needs the drive it once had back, have someone looking over it that has the experience needed to run the biggest department at Habbox and ensure that if something goes wrong there are people above who can help fix it. Also, the listener count could be helped with bigger events, but we can't constantly do them but it helps - have something worthwhile to tune into, I'm sick of 'send your name in the competitions line for a chance to win' no... do questions, riddles, jokes and get people involved. Mainly, I believe they lack in getting the community involved, where are the days of picking party rooms? Now it's just search the Held Desk.
