The population of HEMLINGTON is 7650 and the IMD rank is 12190 out of 12,660 (where 1 is the least deprived parish).
The most significant poverty-related issue in this parish is the relatively high rate of working age poverty. The next most significant issue is the relatively high rate of pensioner poverty.
Child poverty, pensioner poverty, working age poverty and lone parenthood in this parish are among the highest in the country. Qualification levels in this parish are among the lowest nationally. Male life expectancy in this parish is higher than average compared with other parishes nationally.

Not even the most deprived area of Middlesbrough either so this is rather depressing.

I found one for Wales, but it works in the opposite way, so #1 is the most and #1909 is the least deprived.

Where I live in university; is ranked 1786th most deprived area of Wales.
Where my parents live; is ranked 1827th most deprived area of Wales.

I've been pretty lucky then really, especially when if you move 10 miles away in both places it drops dramatically.
