They're pretty supportive of everything I do really. I can't complain.

My family are amazingly supportive, they have known I have wanted to be a chef for years as my auntie used to cook with me when I was little, they help me as much as I can and motivate me as I was having second thoughts about the course but not anymore!

My parents are really supportive with most things. Because I'm their first child I'm pretty sure they give me special treatment over my brother (which isn't very nice to say but I think it's true!). They will always go out of their way to make sure I get what I need and am reasonably happy.

ummmmmm yes supportive but not in the way that they'll ask me about it. they will assume i'm doing fine which prob meant my mum was shocked when i told her i don't even want to be at college. i was raised to believe that uni is the only way and i pretty much have been strongly encouraged into wanting a law career. however although they have such high high hopes when i told my mum i hate college and don't enjoy it at all, she actually said if i want to drop out i might as well do it now as long as i have a plan on what i would do instead.

that shocked me because i didn't think that she'd accept anything less. my dad has always said i can do whatever i want... at uni and that they'll always support me
Always have courage and be kind

My mother tries to be and tells me that she is but isn't so good at support sometimes.

It's difficult because she tells me to love my body whatever but also gets very angry that I don't exercise more and eat too much. She always voices her disapproval at me eating anything unhealthy and how I'm wasting my life, but if you want to look like that then that's fine too dear x
And how she'll love me no matter what I get in my exam results but I've had a "bad" report card before (Bs in all subjects) and she was absolutely furious for letting her down. I was sent up to my bedroom with no dinner so I don't know what to make of that.
She tells me she's glad I don't go out drinking all the time and getting into trouble but then we argue because I don't go out enough and should try going out in the evenings with those nice girls from my english classes more.

I just don't know what she really thinks. I assume she cares and wants the best for me and wishes I was just always happy. But I guess that's not how it works.
