What qualities do you feel are needed in a friend?

Trust, humour, caring, logical, fun, uncaring (of other's negative opinions), Supportive

I also like them to be into music, but I have plenty of friends who're not.

Someone who'll stick around and never turn their backs no matter where I am. That's important, considering I plan on joining the military and being away for prolonged periods of time. Some people forget.

I think being on the same level mentally is really important, it's when you meet someone and you 'click' within a few minutes of speaking to them. Other than that I would say having an open mind and being honest is what I value in a friend.
