I had braces. And I never wore retainers afterwards as I was so happy to have nothing in my mouth and just back to my normal teeth. There's been slight movement in my teeth over the years but so what. No way am I wearing that unbearable retainer for months or (forever?).

Enjoy your mouth and your teeth naturally whilst you can, because with age we'll likely lose most of them anyway.

You always think outside the box Dan haha. I am exactly feeling that same way, having the freedom of no having to 'look after' my teeth as much as I used too.

I did the same exact thing after my braces were taken off! I chose to get the permanent retainer in and at first I thought I was going to get annoyed with it but after a couple of weeks you forget its there!

I am in no way annoyed that there are wires behind my teeth, I am annoyed that I have to wear these retainers. I didn't choose to get them but I dont know why I have to have both

I had a removable retainer for both sets of teeth and I HATED it and stopped wearing it. Now my teeth are massively crooked. I got braces mainly for my top teeth and they haven't moved too much thank god!!!

Yeah I have no clue lmao. He said wear it all day and night for 3 weeks rather than a few months like some people which is why I think I have gotten both, so I don't have to wear my removable ones all day for the next few months.

Lmao, still had a lisp i feel like an idiot tbh omg. Its getting better since my teeth are settling down a bit with them on.
