I can understand the concern the school may have with things like this (there's all sorts of stupid charity stunts nowadays) but the yellow Daffodil is pretty classy and not over the top. Similar to the red poppy rather than the red spray painted hair on Red Nose Day.

Interesting how the school are enforcing it though, our school had enough trouble trying to get people to wear school shoes as opposed to trainers.
